This year went by in a flash I’m sure you’ll agree! But it is at this time of year that we like to become still for a bit, and reflect on all that we have to be grateful for here at Intundla Game Lodge & Bush Spa.
Firstly let’s look at everything we’ve achieved this year.
We started off with a bang and in January we held a very successful Triathlon and R10 of every entry went to our favourite Charity SA Cares.
In an effort to be a Greener Venue, we started growing our own Veggie Garden.
We raised, and set free, the sweetest little Bush Pig named Rosie.
Mother’s day was celebrated at the Game Lodge with a special treat that included a Spa Treatment at our new Spa, and the Fathers got spoiled on their special day with a Game Drive.
Thanks to Szoosh, our Event Décor Specialist, we had some fanciful Themed Events like the Mardi Gras Event we hosted for Lorge.
We were thrilled to have met the new DA Leader Mmusi Maimane on his visit to Intundla.
Nature Conservation released several rock pythons in the Intundla reserve.
We floated many cars across our dam and discovered that BMW floats!
We built a new Boma that is ideal for smaller groups of up to 25 people, who want to gather around the fire, enjoying a tasty buffet in an intimate environment.
Nando’s visited and did the Chicken Dance.
Cambridge University visited us again since their last time here at Intundla in 2007.
And sadly we also mourned the loss of one of our own, much loved Holiday Sebothoma.
And of course, many of you came to visit Intundla, far too many to mention. We would like to take this opportunity to say a special thank you, to our dear clients and friends who have made this year as wonderful as it has been, and we want to extend our warmest wishes for the Holiday Season and a prosperous and peaceful New Year.
