At Intundla Game Lodge & Bush Spa it’s not just about Conferences, Team Building and Weddings in the bush, because when you have some space near a small mountain with a dam the possibilities are near endless.
As a result it was only natural for us to get involved in outdoors events and Intundla was privileged to play host to the 2012 grand finale Vivobarefoot X-Dirt Mini Trail Run Series on Sunday 2nd December. Part of the attraction of hosting this triathlon event was for Intundla to be able to give back to the community by donating a portion of the proceeds to a deserving charity – SA Cares
The event day was perfect for some serious trail running with partly cloudy conditions that kept the blazing sun off the athletes and provided some shade for the avid supporters of the contestants. While the athletically inclined were chasing, swimming and cycling around the various courses on the mountainous terrain, the fun lovers were treated to some great live entertainment, food and drink, prizes, massages and much more.
As a great day out this was surely one of the most memorable for this calendar year and Intundla was given the accolade of being the most beautiful venue in Gauteng providing trail running at it’s best by Wild Trail SA
